Is my file uploaded or stored?

The file is sent only to compute its SHA-256 fingerprint and look it up among the blockchain records. It is not saved or linked to you.

What does "No tokenization found" mean?

No file with this exact fingerprint has been tokenized on TokNox. It was either never tokenized or it differs from the tokenized version.

Why does a tiny change make the verification fail?

The SHA-256 fingerprint changes completely if even a single byte of the file changes, so only the identical file can be matched.

What do I see when a file is verified?

The name and description given at tokenization, the file's SHA-256 fingerprint, the blockchain asset ID and a link to the stored metadata.

Do I need a TokNox account?

No. Verification is public: anyone can check a file without signing up or logging in.
